Full Job Description
Rochdale Council is seeking a proactive and skilled Information Systems Development Officer to join our Digital, ICT and Transformation department on a temporary 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our Liquidlogic Children's System (LCS), ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of Children s Services. You will work closely with our Business Analyst and key stakeholders across the council to design, configure, and implement system enhancements that improve service delivery and user experience.,
- Develop and configure the LCS case management system in line with service requirements.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to gather, analyse, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Support testing, documentation, and deployment of system changes.
- Liaise with Children's Services to ensure system developments align with operational priorities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system users.
- Maintain accurate records of system changes and configurations.
We re looking for someone with: - Experience in information systems development, ideally within a local authority or public sector setting.
- Knowledge of case management systems, preferably Liquidlogic.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
