Ensuring a Safe, Clean, and Comfortable Environment for Women's Health & Emergency Gynaecology, Are you a dedicated and proactive individual looking to play a vital role in supporting patient care? We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Women's Health Ward & Emergency Gynaecology Assessment Unit (EGAU) at Peterborough City Hospital., As a Housekeeper, you will work as an integral part of the Women's Health/EGAU team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation and efficiency in the department. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Stock management - ordering, storing and maintaining medical and non-medical supplies.
- Monitoring and reporting maintenance or cleanliness issues to the relevant departments.
- Supporting catering services - ensuring appropriate food distribution, assisting patients with meals and maintaining hygiene standards in food storage and preparation areas.
- Assisting in the smooth running of the department, working alongside nurses and clinical teams to enhance patient experience. Working Hours & Benefits:
- Monday - Friday,8 AM - 4 PM (excluding bank holidays)
