As a Home Ownership Manager at Longhurst Group, you will lead 8 Scheme Managers and be responsible for 5 non-managed schemes, providing an excellent service to enable them to successfully support our customers. Further key responsibilities are listed below:

Lead, develop and motivate a team of Scheme Managers.
Lead on recruitment of Scheme Managers, Section 20 Consultations and reviews of service delivery.
Hold a regular presence at our homeownership retirement schemes, carrying out inspections and coordinating any follow up work.
Help to approve the preparation of service charge budgets for our retirement homeownership schemes.
Ensure that all complaints are responded to in line with our complaints policy, and identify learning points for service improvement.

In order to be successful in application for our Home Ownership Manager role, having current knowledge of leasehold legislation is a must. You'll also need Knowledge of service charges, rents, budgets, and accounts.

Our Home Ownership Manager role operates in a hybrid capacity, contracted to 25 hours per week. To us, this means spending time with our customers across the East Midlands (Derby / Nottingham), with some time working from home (subject to business needs - we are open to discussion around how this is built into working weeks). A large portion of our Homeownership team also work in a hybrid nature, meeting in our offices on regular basis for collaboration and training.

Naturally working with our customers, we need to complete pre-employment checks before you join us. This role is conditional upon receipt of two satisfactory references (one from your current employer). We also need you to tell us what you have been up to over the past 5 years as a minimum in terms of employment history. This role currently attracts a non-contractual car allowance according to our Driving at Work Policy. This is currently set at £2,600 per annum, however eligibility for the allowance and the rate of the allowance is reviewed annually and any changes will be notified to you
