We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our highly regarded Learning Support team. This is a fixed-term opportunity for the Autumn 2026 Term, with the potential for extension. Working across Key Stages 2-5, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of SEND needs, delivering targeted interventions, supporting learning in the classroom, and working collaboratively with teaching staff and parents. You will work with the Head of Learning Support (SENDCo) and the Head of Junior School and work across both our Junior and Senior School sites, so flexibility is essential. Our Learning Support department sits at the heart of the school, offering a collaborative, supportive environment focused on enabling every student to thrive and succeed. We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has experience working with pupils with SEND
- Is proactive, organised and adaptable
- Is committed to making a positive impact on students' learning and wellbeing
- Enjoys working as part of a dedicated and professional team We welcome applications from candidates who are passionate about supporting young people and making a meaningful difference within a collaborative and inclusive school community. If you feel you have the skills, experience and enthusiasm to contribute to our Learning Support team, we would be delighted to hear from you. Hours: 33.25 hours per week (term-time only), working Monday to Wednesday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Thursday to Friday 7.45am - 3.30pm. Salary: In the range of £28,000 - £33,000 gross per annum (FTE); part-time salary approximately £19,300 - £22,700 pro rata. The actual salary will be chosen to reflect the experience and skills offered by the successful candidate. Excellent benefits are available - please see the Job Information Pack for full details. For further information and to apply, please click here. Closing date: 9.00am on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026 We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of neurodivergence, age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships. Whilst all applications are considered on merit, we would particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates, who are currently underrepresented in our staff community. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff to share this commitment. All posts are subject to pre-interview referencing, internet searches and pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check with the children's barred list check and other appropriate checks.
