Full Job Description
TLP Recruitment Southampton are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a busy logistics and container transport operation based in Southampton. This is a temporary cover role, ideal for professional drivers looking for steady day work with a well-established transport operation handling container, refrigerated, and general haulage movements across the South. The Role
- Completing local and regional Class 1 deliveries and collections
- Working with a mix of container and general haulage movements
- Carrying out daily vehicle and safety checks
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
- Maintaining a professional approach when representing the client
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence - Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 experience preferred
- Container or dock experience advantageous
- Good understanding of driver hours and compliance
- Reliable and professional attitude to work
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences (no DR or IN endorsements)
Monday to Friday day shifts - Temporary cover with immediate starts available
- Weekly pay
