Full Job Description

The post holder will be part of a team of experienced heart failure specialist nursesand be responsible for providing high quality expert care to patients with heart failurein York hospital and the Vale of York community setting.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' post registration experience, preferably with suitable heart failure nursing experience or a minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a cardiology setting. We have advertised the post as either a band 6 or 7 role, depending on experience. Support will be given to work towards heart failure specialist nurse competency framework set by the British Society of Heart Failure.

The hours advertised are up to 28 hours per week for a fixed term. During this fixed term period we will be working to secure permanent funding., We offer a range of benefits to support our staff including:
