Healthcare Support Worker - Savernake

The Health Care Support Worker is an essential role within the team at Savernake, where they provide high standards of care and support for patients as well as comfort to families, friends, and carers. In addition to essential care, there will be opportunities to develop additional skills such as monitoring and recording patient observations and conducting ECGs and phlebotomy. The role involves working within a multi-professional team, providing support, care, and treatment to individuals as per guidelines and protocols. Responsibilities include providing essential care to meet patient needs, such as maintaining personal hygiene, continence, mobility, nutrition, and hydration, promoting rehabilitation and encouraging independence, all within the inpatient ward setting. The role offers potential for flexible working patterns and requires someone motivated, compassionate, and with good team-working skills, experience working under supervision, and a good general education.
