Full Job Description

We are looking for a caring and committed Health Visitor to join our integrated 019 Service in Halton and make a lasting difference to the lives of babies, young children and their families. As part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will build trusted relationships, promote health and wellbeing, contribute to safeguarding, and help reduce health inequalities across our communities. If you are passionate about giving children the best start in life and want to be part of a service that values kindness, collaboration and positive impact, we would love to hear from you., As a Health Visitor in Halton, you will lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for a defined caseload, providing universal, targeted and needs led support to babies, young children and their families from pregnancy through to school age. You will complete holistic assessments, deliver the mandated health and development reviews, identify emerging risks at the earliest opportunity, and provide evidence based advice on infant feeding, child development, maternal emotional wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, safety and school readiness. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will build trusted relationships with families, contribute to safeguarding and early help, and work closely with Family Hubs and partner agencies to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.
