Full Job Description
The post holder is a senior leader within Facilities in NHFM providing strategic, operational, commercial and contractual leadership across the full range of Facilities Services. The role includes serving as Contract Manager for all Facilities Management (FM) contracts (including Soft FM and Retail Catering), ensuring the highest standards of contractual delivery, financial performance, compliance and customer experience.
The post holder will support and deputise for the Chief Operating Officer, contributing to and implementing the strategic direction of facilities. The post holder will lead the development of commercial, contractual, performance and benchmarking functions, delivering high-quality, value-for-money services that meet organisational objectives and statutory obligations., The Head of Service is accountable to the Chief Operating Officer for the provision of leadership, direction, health & safety and financial control for all Facilities operational services, contributing to and ensuring delivery of strategic and operational service objectives set by NHFM Board and Executive Management Team.
Deputise for the Chief Operating Officer.
Translate corporate and clinical strategy into a coherent Soft FM operating model and annual plan that integrates:
PeopleProcessTechnologyCommercialsOutcomes
Provide executive assurance that NHFM's Soft FM operations meet statutory and mandatory requirements
Lead transformation and innovation at scale
Act as the professional lead for Soft FM
