We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Groundsperson to join our Grounds team and support the delivery of high-quality outdoor sports facilities across our school estate. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and developing a diverse range of sporting and amenity areas, including rugby, cricket and football pitches, artificial surfaces and general school grounds.
You will take pride in creating safe, professional and high-performing environments that will support both curricular and co-curricular sporting excellence.
If you are passionate about outdoor spaces and take pride in delivering high standards, we would be delighted to hear from you. We warmly encourage interested candidates to apply and become part of our supportive and dedicated team.
Hours: This is a six-month fixed-term role for 40 hours per week (term-time and through school holidays), Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 4.00pm. During the cricket season, you will work on a rota to provide cover for weekday evening and weekend cricket fixtures at Jesmond Cricket Ground.
Salary: In the region of £27,700 gross per annum (full-time equivalent based on a 40-hour working week).
