Pay: Scale 6 (scp 21-24) £33,143 to £35,412 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Ribble Valley Borough Council has an in-house maintenance and works team of three maintenance and two cleaning staff. The Council is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified working Foreman to lead and work alongside this team in a wide range of construction and maintenance tasks and small projects.
The appointed person will have extensive experience in the leadership and direction of teams and individuals engaged in a wide range of construction and building disciplines and trades. The Foreman's leadership skills will encourage the continuation of the high standard, quality and attention to detail of the work output of the team.
A knowledge and acceptance of safe working procedures is required. A flexible approach with the ability to personally attend to occasional out-of-hours emergency works is essential.
