Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will report to senior leadership and be responsible for leading and strengthening Tony Gee's financial operations across the global business. The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibility across all aspects of finance in a growing organisation and is an exciting opportunity to be part of positive change as the team continues to develop.,

• Influential partner in design, implementation and production of financial reporting, processes, and systems
• Control the preparation of the monthly management accounts and annual reports, including cashflow management in line with reporting timetable
• Ensure clean balance sheet reconciliations are maintained monthly
• Perform in-depth analysis of business performance (costs, revenue, and margin)
• Proactively contributing to the identification, development and implementation of system efficiency improvements
• Liaise with auditors to meet fieldwork requirements and timelines
• Delegating preparation of required supporting schedules to appropriate team members and managing completion on schedule
• Supervise and mentor members of the Finance Team
  
  5 years proven experience in senior finance role(s)
• Excellent technical accounting skills
• Highly organised, demonstrating the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Innovative approach to continuous improvement in systems, reporting and analysis
• Ability to communicate to non-financial specialists
• Gravitas to influence at all levels of the business
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Desire to provide succession to Finance Director at the appropriate time, Project based business experience
• System change experience
• Experience working in growing organisations, Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
