Full Job Description
As a Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of a major programme, providing trusted financial insight that enables informed decision-making and strong business performance. Working closely with operational teams, you'll ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and aligned to programme delivery-helping to safeguard critical national infrastructure. Day-to-day, you'll build relationships across project, operational, and stakeholder groups to drive value and ensure robust financial governance. - Supporting financial reporting and ensuring accuracy of accounting records across the programme
- Partnering with operational teams to provide insight and influence financial performance
- Maintaining strong financial governance, controls, and compliance with accounting standards
- Producing and presenting financial information to internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of days in the office/onsite.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and accounting practices, including IFRS 15
- Experience in financial reporting and maintaining accurate financial data
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders Qualifications for the Finance Business Partner
- AAT qualified - Essential
- Working towards a professional accounting qualification - Desirable Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
