To learn more, visit sealedair. What you'll do: An exciting opportunity to join the team as an Extrusion Operator who will assist in the running of Blown Film Extruders and the recycling line. Extrusion Operators work on a shift rotation covering 12 hour shifts on days and nights. Your main responsibilities will be as follows: style="list-style-type:disc"- -Assist in the running of the Blown Film Extruders and recycling line -Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure correct working order -Perform operating testing procedures to ensure the machine works optimally during the production process -Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift -Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running speed -Troubleshoot problems during machine operation -Ensure that machines are producing quality product by managing periodic quality checks on output -Ensure stocks of materials are ready and available at all times -Create and maintain activity logs -Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors/management -Adhere to Health & Safety rules and department standards, performing regular safety checks What you'll need: style="list-style-type:disc"- -Knowledge of operating machinery -Experience of working with blown film and cast film preferable -Experience of working with hot polymers, blenders, profile extrusion and injection moulding would be an advantage -Ability to understand standard operating procedures -Effective communication skills -Good attention to detail -Work well within a team -Remain calm under pressure What you'll get: style="list-style-type:disc"- -Shift allowance (10% of basic salary) -25 days paid holiday with 5 additional days awarded for long service -Generous pension scheme -Enhanced Sick Pay and Family Leave -Health Cash Plan -Life Assurance -Income Protection -Employee Assistance Programme -Discounts Platform -Cycle to Work Scheme Requisition id: 54361 Relocation: No Sealed Air is committed to attracting, selecting, and developing talent that reflects the diversity of the communities and customers we serve.
