Estates Operations Manager - Scarborough

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Operations Manager to lead the delivery of safe, compliant and value-for-money estates maintenance services across the Trust. Based at Scarborough Hospital, you will provide specialist technical leadership across mechanical, electrical and building/fabric infrastructure, managing in-house teams and coordinating key specialist contractors to ensure high-quality planned and reactive maintenance, Lead day-to-day estates operations and maintenance strategy across mechanical, electrical and building/fabric services.

Manage and develop in-house maintenance teams and key specialist contractors, ensuring performance, quality and compliance.

Oversee CAFM/asset registers, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, records and certification to support statutory and mandatory compliance.

Support governance and assurance including audits, risk register updates, PAM/ERIC returns and contractor control (including permits to work).

Contribute to budget management, procurement/contract compliance (SFIs) and delivery of minor works and improvement schemes.

Participate in the Estates management on-call rota, providing out-of-hours advice and support.
