To build on this success, we are recruiting an Enhanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Manager to join our team and ensure that our patients continue to receive the best possible care. Our practice has a strong culture of training and development, and we are a training practice for medical students. We are also committed to supporting the professional development of our staff.

The ideal candidate will take responsibility and lead our dedicated nursing team, working closely with our GPs and administrative teams to provide patient-centered care.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about change and innovation and can help us to continue to improve the quality of care we provide.

Main duties of the job

You will lead the Nursing team and be responsible for staff management, implementing change, ensuring compliance with our policies and standard operating procedures and overall team performance and service delivery.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver enhanced clinical care in the context of continual change, challenging environments, different models of care delivery, innovation and rapidly evolving technologies;

You will help us to transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across professional boundaries.

Clinically, your focus will be on delivering evidence-based practice to patients with long-term conditions, acute exacerbations, and minor injuries/illnesses.

As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for the care delivered, and will need to demonstrate critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.

You will conduct both face-to-face and telephone triage appointments and work dynamically and collaboratively to meet the patients' daily needs.

You will support us in our participation in research trials and clinical audits.

We also encourage professional development and can offer internal and external education to help you explore your specialist interest.
