Engineering Service Coordinator

We're looking for a Service Coordinator to support the effective delivery of field operations, ensuring high levels of customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance. This role is key to coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and resources, while maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting continuous improvement across service delivery. Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule field service engineers and subcontractor work to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
• Coordinate parts, suppliers, and logistics for service visits, breakdowns, and installations.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, as well as customer site procedures and RAMS requirements.
• Manage incoming customer queries via calls and emails, providing timely responses and effective issue resolution.
• Support account managers with pricing, spare parts information, and service delivery insights.
• Monitor KPIs, support team performance plans, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and engineering project stakeholders.
• Support warehouse and operational activities where required, ensuring a safe and organised working environment.
  
  Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a service coordination, administrative, or operational role.
• Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel and stay overnight if required.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications., Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Well organised with strong prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, including handling urgent or reactive situations.
• Logical thinker with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality service.
• Willingness to learn products and services to better support customer needs.
Desirable:
• Experience working in a technical or engineering environment (e.g. water treatment sector).
• Familiarity with field service operations or coordination of engineers and subcontractors.
