Full Job Description
This varied role will begin each morning supporting the school's Breakfast Club, helping to create a safe, engaging and positive start to the day for pupils. Following this, you will work within the classroom, providing targeted support to children with their phonics and early literacy development.,
- Supporting pupils during Breakfast Club activities
- Delivering and reinforcing phonics learning within the classroom
- Working closely with the class teacher to support pupil progress
- Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence in learning
- Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Irlam on a part-time basis., Previous experience working within a primary school setting - Strong knowledge and experience of delivering phonics interventions
- A patient, nurturing and positive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
