The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the pupil receives the personalised support they need to succeed both academically and socially. Your Role:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Support learning activities within and outside the classroom
• Help the pupil develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours
• Build a strong and trusting relationship with the child
• Work collaboratively with school staff to implement support strategies
• Encourage participation and engagement in all aspects of school life

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Irlam that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with additional needs. • Has previous experience supporting children with SEN
• Is patient, caring, and adaptable
• Can use their initiative and remain proactive throughout the day
• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
