Are you a recent graduate, sports coach, teaching assistant, or someone with experience supporting young people? Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day? We are currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants to work within a well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Crosby. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs and is seeking enthusiastic, resilient, and caring individuals to join their team. This role is particularly suited to:

  • Graduates considering a career in education, psychology, social work, or therapy.
  • Sports coaches who can build positive relationships and engage pupils through structured activities.
  • Teaching Assistants looking to develop their SEN experience.
  • Individuals with experience working with children or young people in schools, coaching, youth work, care, or support settings.
  • The Role:
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Helping students access learning both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Working closely with teachers and wider support staff to meet individual learning and development needs.

    Has experience working with children or young people.
  • Is energetic, proactive, and able to build rapport quickly.
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Is looking to gain valuable experience within education and SEN settings.

    Competitive pay of £102 - £115 per day.
