THE MANDATORY ASSIGNMENT (REQUIREMENTS)

Professional Accountability: Immediate access to 2 workplace references.

Criminal Record Vetting: Active status on the Enhanced DBS Update Service.

Confirmation: Once clear, our system automatically prioritizes local Wakefield bookings for you.

Qualified Status: Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ). Please note that Teaching Assistant and Health & Social Care pathways are excluded from qualified ratio brackets.

Unqualified Status: A minimum of 3 months of recent experience in a private nursery setting is strictly required for support assistant entry.

2025 Statutory Standard: Possession of an active Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate is required to fulfill nursery ratio numbers.
