Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for your next locum role in a dynamic high-performing team? Bradford Children's Services is seeking skilled professionals to join their Duty & Assessment Team - where your expertise will help safeguard and improve the lives of children and families across the district. The nature of work within the Duty Service is fast-paced and varied.
Key responsibilitiesCompleting timely and robust assessments under the Single Assessment FrameworkManaging a caseload with varying levels of complexityEngaging with children, families and partner agencies to identify needs and ensure safetyMaking clear and effective decisions on intervention and next stepsPreparing and presenting reports for ICPCs, CLA Reviews, PLO meetings and CIN meetingsCase transfer pointsInitial Child Protection Case Conference (ICPC)First Child Looked After (CLA) ReviewFirst Public Law Outline (PLO) MeetingThird Child in Need (CIN) MeetingThe Duty Service does not hold cases long-term. Following your assessment and intervention period, outcomes will determine which long-term team the family transitions to which ensures continuity and appropriate support.
