Designated Safeguarding Lead & Attendance Officer

Support child protection systems, arrangements that enable the Academy to meet statutory safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of children.
Provide safeguarding advice and guidance to Academy and client school staff to promote student welfare.
Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements.
Monitor attendance and punctuality, taking a lead role across the academy and promoting an Inclusive Attendance approach.
Support the leadership team in statutory responsibilities and ensure attendance is at or above national expectation.

Have Module One Safeguarding Training or equivalent, be ECAF trained, Lead Professional and Outcomes Star trained.
Have a minimum of two years experience of working in safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Have worked for a minimum of two years with young people, with experience of record keeping, managing a caseload and handling cases at both Early Help and Child Protection levels.
