Full Job Description
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the team including, as delegated, managing leave on e-roster, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained and clinics have accurate numbers of staff to ensure the clinics run smoothly and a high standard of care provision are achieved meeting client expectations.
- Recruitment and retention of staff within the respective team, ensuring induction timetables are planned and executed.
- Ensure the policies and procedures of HCT are implemented and adhered to at all times and that team members are familiar with them.
- Responsible for ensuring that staff perform effectively and safely meeting the requirements of the post, taking appropriate action as necessary including completion of Incident Reporting and Risk Assessments following discussion with the Service Manager or Clinical Director.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection and interview process using the TRACs System.
- Support the Clinical Director and the Service Manager with the development of services, performance capability, governance initiatives and the development of policy and practice. - To work together with other Team Leaders, Senior Dental Officers, Senior Dental Nurses, the Service Manager and Clinical Director in order to deliver a high quality, safe and effective Special Care Dental Service.
- To lead on designated aspects of the service as delegated by the Service Manager and Clinical Director.
