Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a full time Technology Technician to assist teaching staff in providing students at Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School in the delivery of Design & Technology and ensure high levels of achievement. The successful candidate will provide support to the Design & Technology department including, but not limited to support to Technology, 3D Design, Food and hospitality and catering.

Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) - Term time only plus 5 inset days and 1 week during summer holidays to prepare for the new academic year., Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School would like all candidates to answer specific questions for the personal statement section. For reference, here is a preview of the questions/headings:

Days/Times: Monday - Thursday 8am to 4pm, Fridays 8am - 3.30pm (with 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day)

Annual Leave: 5.8 weeks (paid pro-rata for part-time) to be taken during school holidays - (45.8 weeks paid per year)

Grade: H4., Scale Point.6 to H4, Scale point9 - dependent on experience

Salary: FTE £ 26718 - £27,983 (actual salary will be between £23,532 and £24,646 pro-rata) for 45.8 weeks - paid over 12 equal monthly instalments)
