We're looking for a Customer Service Operator who specialises in Customer Relations to be the first point of contact for all customer complaints and enquiries. In this vital role, you'll ensure every customer interaction is handled with care, professionalism, and efficiency-resolving issues in line with company standards and customer expectations.Day to day activities

  • Be a brand ambassador for Appello, delivering outstanding customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Handle incoming complaints and enquiries from start to resolution.
  • Provide first-stage resolution wherever possible and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality data input across systems.
  • Manage and update the complaints management platform.
  • Produce reports and support ad hoc administrative tasks.

You can demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and consistently take initiative in problem-solving. Flexible and adaptable, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced environments.Essential:
  • Experience in a customer service role (face-to-face or telephone-based).
  • Familiarity with the Appello emergency platform.
  • Strong administrative skills, including business writing.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A friendly, empathetic, and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and take ownership of issues.
  • Desirable:
  • Previous experience in complaints handling.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualifications.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR - CUSTOMER RELATIONS ️Hours: 35 hours per week Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 Salary: £22,404.20 per annum (£12.31ph) rising to £22,640.80(£12.44ph) post probation Location: HybridThis role is a UK based role and any hybrid/remote work must also be within the UK. Start Date : ASAP For this role, you need 5mpbs upload and 15mpbs download internet speed Appello Perks
