Full Job Description
Today, most of our revenue comes from businesses. We are well set up for large corporates and institutions, as we have broad capabilities (across Real Estate, Corporate and Transactions, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Employment, IP, Innovation and Impact) but an innovative, agile approach you won't find at larger global firms. You would be part of the Marketing and New Business team, within the central Business Development team. The Business Development team delivers key services, including Intermediary Development, Sales, Insight, Events, Comms and PR, Digital Marketing, Brand and Pitching. The Marketing and New Business team are responsible for brand, marketing, pitching and sales. Our New Business teamwork closely with Fee Earners, BD teams and Knowledge Lawyers across the firm to identify campaign and sales opportunities and to support the growth of the firm., The successful candidate will report into the Head of Sales and Acquisition and work closely with the wider Business Development team to help create best-in-class outcomes. The team's core objective is to drive business growth through new client acquisition. The focus of this role would be on creating content for and supporting the sales team, with some responsibility for marketing and pitching content.,
- Developing sales and campaign content: + Build and execute fully integrated digital campaigns and develop propositions that engage our clients and prospects. Manage content development for campaigns from initial concept through to go live. + Develop engaging content across all stages of the marketing funnel to help drive new client acquisition, including landing pages, social media posts, email marketing, deal announcements, case studies, guides, handbooks, reports and video scripts. + Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to create high performing landing pages and call to actions - offering a best-in-class experience for our clients and prospects. + Collaborate with Practice Groups and Knowledge Lawyers to understand key issues and trends which could translate into campaign opportunities.
- Supporting the sales team with campaign set up and execution:
- Provide cover for inbound enquiries.
- Assist with sales campaign set-up and reporting in HubSpot.
- Reporting on content and campaigns.
- Wider marketing and pitching content
- Support on the delivery of the marketing and sales strategy for MDR ONE including creating campaigns for the team such as articles, event takeaways, webpage SEO updates and taking lead on running the MDR ONE LinkedIn account
- Contribute to pitch library content, help maintain and refresh pitch library materials.
- Support the Marketing team with creation of campaign content (e.g. social posts, internal announcements)
- Contribute to the creation and updating of firmwide marketing and pitching materials (e.g. firmwide creds, brochures and marketing collateral).
- Coordinate updates to shared content, work with BD team to keep core pitch content current and consistent.
- Develop strong relationships with Partners, Knowledge Lawyers, BD and Practice Groups across the firm
Content creation expertise across multiple channels (writing experience is a must, design and video experience is a bonus). - Some experience of pitching, marketing, CRM or sales would be beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in technology, with the ability to use and experiment with AI to improve efficiency, solve problems creatively, and identify new ways of delivering high-quality work.
- Facility for digital platforms, ideally CRM systems like HubSpot or equivalent would be helpful.
