Are you a people person with a calm, empathetic approach? Join our growing team in Biggleswade as a Contact Centre Agent, where you'll play a key role in supporting customers with their accounts and payments - always with a respectful, solutions-focused approach.,
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails relating to payments and account queries
- Support customers with missed payments, offering practical and non-judgmental solutions
- Clearly explain payment options, next steps, and responsibilities
- Identify vulnerable customers and escalate appropriately
- Maintain accurate records and work in line with industry regulations
- Contribute positively to the team and deliver a great customer experience
Previous experience in customer service, call centres, or collections is preferred - Strong communication and listening skills
- A calm, respectful, and empathetic approach to customer interactions
- Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Confidence using IT systems, with the ability to quickly learn new tools
Salary up to £30,000 (depending on experience) - Up to 10% annual performance bonus
- 6% employer pension contribution (matched)
