The CMHT work will cover the Nottingham City Central LMHT Team, which is also based at Highbury hospital. This will include assessment , treatment and ongoing management of existing patients on the team's caseload. Other roles include Mental Health Act work (Section 12) when required, day on-call duty rota (this will be based on a pro rata and on average 3 to 4 times a month for emergency work only, it is factored into the sessions and does not impact on work as it is a last resort cover), cover for colleagues when on leave and working within the multidisciplinary team supporting other members of the team. There will be an emphasis on providing leadership and consultancy to the team.
There will be junior doctors attached to the wards and will include two of either GP trainees, CT trainees or F2 trainees, and one Foundation 1 Doctor (F1). In addition, there will be the possibility of having a Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry (ST) trainee. There is also a robust junior doctor day duty system to cover wards when ward doctors not around due to various reasons.
