Full Job Description

The Healthcare Assistant is a key member of the care team, supporting the delivery of holistic, person-centred care for patients with terminal illness. You will work in patients homes, helping them maintain comfort, dignity and independence wherever possible. The role involves working night shifts and travelling between locations in the community. You will be supported through training and development opportunities to build your skills in palliative and end-of-life care. Essential criteria Experience in a health or social care setting Compassionate, patient-centred approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic IT skills Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Desirable criteria NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Experience in community or palliative care Contract: Permanent, part-time Hours: 18 hours per week (night shifts) Location: Community-based West Kent (Maidstone area) Salary: £24,465 per
