An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated NMC registered nurse to join the established and highly regarded Richmond Community Dementia Care Team which is part of Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust (KRFT). KRFT provides high quality, holistic community health services for people living in the London borough of Richmond Upon Thames. You would be based in Teddington and would form a key part of the community service. You would be managing a caseload of people living with dementia and supporting their informal carers. This includes carrying out high level clinical assessments for those living with dementia and their carers to deliver evidence-based interventions and advice to enable them to live as independently as possible within the community. Enthusiasm, energy and a passion for delivering a high-quality service is essential. Previous clinical experience working with people with dementia and supporting their carers/family is also essential. Ideally you would also have formal knowledge of dementia acquired through clinical post-graduate training/education. Another aspect of this role is to support the service to deliver dementia awareness training for staff.
