Full Job Description

· Creating strong working relationships with our customers and suppliers

· Supporting our Account Managers to ensure the highest level of customer service and retention

· Proactively dealing with enquiries from quotation stage through to delivery and completion in a timely manner

· Co-ordinating procurement activities by liaising with supplier base for best pricing and availability of components and placing subsequent orders

· Assisting in facilitating the import process from Far Eastern suppliers

· Proactively addressing supply chain challenges by promptly escalating issues with suppliers whilst communicating any updates with account mangers/customers

· A confident telephone manner with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Able to work well under pressure, with good attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft applications and data analysis

· A team player, yet has the initiative to work alone

· Strong time management and organisational skills

· Determination and drive to deliver results that enhance the company's sales performance

Relevant Experience

· Experience in a purchasing or sales environment; experience in the electronics industry is desirable but not essential

· SAP, SAGE or other equivalent CRM system

· Strong Excel skills are a necessity

Enthusiastic, pro-active, highly driven, hardworking and articulate

Keen to learn and succeed,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Experience:
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

  • Administrative: 1 year (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cheshire, CW11 2US

    The position is based at our head office -Diamond Electronics Ltd, Fourways Technology Park, London Road, Smallwood, Nr Sandbach, Cheshire CW11 2US.
