An exciting opportunity has arisen, to join the iCaSH Bedfordshire Senior Leadership as a Clinical Nurse Manager on a fixed term basis covering maternity leave.

Hours to be worked across the week and will be between 9-5, may include some evening working. Will also include travel across two clinics in Bedfordshire. Open to discussion about hours and/or job share.

You will play a leading role in the operational and clinical development of the iCaSH services across Bedfordshire.

The role of the Clinical Nurse Manager provides operational management to the identified iCaSH service, whilst ensuring robust senior clinical leadership and direction for the team, working in conjunction with the iCaSH Bedfordshire Service Manager and local Senior Leadership team.

Day to day operational management and delivery of the iCaSH Service within identified locality hub.

Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the integrated iCaSH Services against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deputise for Service Manager if/when required.

Lead in the development of new services including highly specialised areas and provide line management and support to the staff within the identified locality.

Act as a representative for the iCaSH Service in relevant forums., To directly provide Contraceptive and Sexual Health Services to address the holistic sexual health needs of clients and include signposting for other relevant health needs, ie: TOP, Substance misuse/dependence

To provide visible nurse leadership to the iCaSH team

Plan and maintain an effective work rota inclusive of all staff within the iCaSH Team

To provide information, advice, treatment, support and care on all aspects of sexual health: Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) including HIV, Reproductive Health, unplanned pregnancy and all other aspects of reproductive health.

Perform contraceptive or sexual health examinations and procedures as required or clinically indicated to aid differential diagnosis

To hold accreditation or equivalent, to fit contraceptive implants and intra-uterine devices if working as a member of the Reproductive Health clinical team and/or be accredited to British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH), Sexually Transmitted Infection Foundation (STIF), Level 2 Competency Training or equivalent if working as a member of the Sexual Health clinical team
