Clinical Lead - Psychosis Pathway

The Clinical Lead for the Psychosis Pathway is a senior clinician responsible for providing day-to-day clinical leadership across adult community mental health psychosis services. The postholder will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care to service users and their families, while supporting staff development and driving continuous service improvement. The role involves leading clinical decision-making, overseeing the delivery of evidence-based interventions, and maintaining strong multidisciplinary and partnership working to improve outcomes for people experiencing psychosis.,

• Provide clinical leadership and direction across the psychosis pathway
• Support and develop staff through clinical supervision, guidance, and training
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based (NICE concordant) interventions
• Lead on clinical decision-making, including complex case discussions and care planning
• Oversee risk assessments, safety planning, and safeguarding practices
• Coordinate care to ensure timely, safe, and effective service delivery
• Work collaboratively with service users, families, and partner organisations
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Maintain high standards of clinical record-keeping and compliance with policies
