Summary
We're opening a new Dental Education Practice in Plymouth City Centre later this year, and we're looking for a Clinic Team Leader to join us on a full-time basis! Initially working in our Plymouth Dental Education Facilities in Derriford and Devonport for training purposes, the Clinic Team Leader will transfer to our new Dental Education Practice (DEP) in Plymouth City Centre when this opens in Autumn 2025. The DEP will provide an innovative model of care comprising urgent and stabilisation dental care, and general and specialist dentistry delivered alongside placements for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as trainees undertaking dental foundation training. The Clinic Team Leader will be the CQC Registered manager for the DEP, and will lead on the effective and efficient running of clinical activity, as well as managing the clinical and administrative teams.
This role includes:
- A salary range of £31,985 - £36,008.
- 6.6 weeks holiday entitlement (pro rata), increasing after 5 years' service. Payment for holiday is included within the annual salary. We also offer a holiday purchase scheme where you can buy up to two additional weeks holiday each year.
- Support with your learning and development, including access to online CPD platforms plus additional CPD at our two company Away Days each year. Our Learning & Development Framework may also inspire you to consider further career development such as leadership training or further clinical opportunities.
- Access to the Scottish Widows Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions.
- Free uniform and funded indemnity insurance.
- Opportunity to claim back professional registration fees (pro rata)
- Parking available within walking distance of the Practice
- Support for your wellbeing, including access to our Employee Assistance Programme, as well as our new Health Plan where you can claim money back towards certain health expenses, and access gym discounts and more.
- Access to our Cycle to Work Scheme which operates via salary sacrifice
- Opportunities to share your skills, knowledge, and experience to help shape the future of dentistry
- Opportunities to contribute to company development through our dedicated 'team talk' channels
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a qualified Dental Nurse registered with the General Dental Council.
