Full Job Description

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs. This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. You will:

  • Deliver tailored intervention sessions
  • Build positive and consistent relationships with young people
  • Monitor progress and report safeguarding concerns
  • Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regional teams

    You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.
  • We value empathy, resilience, creativity, and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people. Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
  • Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of three days' availability per week to provide consistency for our young people
  • Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role

  • Teaching or therapeutic qualifications
  • Safeguarding or de-escalation training

  • £16-£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
