Full Job Description

No two days are the same! As a Children's Support Worker, you'll:

  • Provide trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supported
  • Build positive, trusting relationships
  • Encourage healthy routines and life skills
  • Support education, prepare meals, and accompany children to appointments
  • Champion their voice - making sure they're heard and valued
  • Drive young people to activities or appointments using your own vehicle
  • Help them move forward with confidence and hope

    Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience Flexibility for varied shifts (including weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights) A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one) A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential - full training provided.
