Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated band 5 Paediatric nurse who is committed to providing quality nursing care in line with the Northern Care Alliance Trust Values.
The service currently comprises of a proactive team of nurses that provides Nursing care and family support to children with Chronic and Complex Needs, Palliative Care and Long term ventilated as well as children with Acute Nursing needs., The successful candidate will be provided with an individualised and structured orientation programme . This will allow the candidate to develop the required high-level skills and knowledge to assess, implement and evaluate the care needs in a variety of settings including the child's home/ clinics / schools and nursery autonomously.
In addition, you will receive regular coordinated supervision and feedback from a variety of sources to allow you to contribute to our services ethos of placing children, young people, and families first.
