This role is central to enabling the Trust to meet its duties under the Children Act, Care Planning Regulations and statutory guidance on promoting the health and wellbeing of looked-after children. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail and a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. The successful applicant will be supported by senior administrators and will work within a friendly, values-driven safeguarding service. You will provide essential administrative support to the Children Looked After (CLA) Health Team, focusing mainly onReview Health Assessments (RHAs)and helping ensure children in care receive timely, well-coordinated health assessments in line with statutory requirements. Your key duties will include:

  • Receiving, logging and tracking RHA referrals and keeping assessment pathways on schedule.
  • Preparing and uploading RHA documents to EMIS and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Liaising with carers, social workers, GPs and Out-of-Borough CLA teams to support smooth information flow and resolve missing details.
  • Processing completed RHAs by uploading reports, sharing Health Action Plans and closing records appropriately.
  • Monitoring the CLA inbox, responding to non-clinical queries and supporting respectful, timely communication across agencies.
  • Updating trackers, placement changes and Care Leaver notifications to support accurate caseload management.
  • Providing general admin support such as scanning, filing, minute-taking and handling phone queries.
  • You will work closely with CLA nurses, the Senior Administrator (IHA lead), CLA Administrator (RHA) and safeguarding colleagues to help deliver a kind, well-organised service for children and young people in care.
