Full Job Description
Part Time Personal Support Worker
We are looking for a kind,patient and reliable individual to support an 11 year old non verbal happy boy with complex needs in his morning routine before school.
If unavailable in mornings possible assistance after 5pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Provide full support with showering and personal hygiene
Assist with dressing
Support safe transfers using hoist
Assist with wheelchair use and positioning
Ensure comfort,dignity and safety at all times
Communicate in a calm, understanding supportive manner (Experience with non verbal communications method would be helpful.
Experience working with children with complex needs,
Confident using moving and handling equipment
Right to work in UK
Non smoker
