Full Job Description

  • Collect used glasses, cups, bottles, and empty service items from areas during matchdays and events
  • Clear tables, ledges, and designated collection points efficiently to support smooth stadium operations
  • Transport glassware safely to designated wash-up or return areas using trays, racks, or trolleys
  • Assist with basic cleaning of public areas, including wiping surfaces and maintaining tidy service spaces
  • Support bar and catering teams by ensuring sufficient clean glassware is available when required
  • Monitor busy areas to prevent build-up of used items and maintain a clean environment for guests
  • Follow all health & safety procedures, including safe manual handling and correct use of equipment
  • Handle glassware carefully to prevent breakages and ensure guest and staff safety
  • Report any hazards, spillages, or safety concerns to supervisors or relevant teams immediately
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling in line with stadium procedures
  • Work efficiently across large and crowded areas in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Provide polite and professional interaction with guests when clearing items or moving through crowds
  • Support opening and closing duties, including clearing and resetting service areas
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards throughout the stadium environment
  • Work collaboratively with bar, catering, and cleaning teams to ensure smooth matchday operations

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume stadium environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and large-scale events
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive and "can-do" attitude
  • Good awareness of health & safety, especially around manual handling and glassware
  • Able to work well as part of a team and support multiple departments when required
  • Calm and composed when working in crowded, busy environments
  • Good communication skills and able to follow instructions from supervisors
  • Friendly and professional when interacting with guests while working in public areas
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order
  • Able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining consistency and pace
  • Willingness to learn and take direction in a busy stadium operation
