We are proud to develop our people from within, and we invest in our staff at every level., Reporting directly to the Registered Care Manager, you'll work collaboratively with the entire care management team to help oversee our services across all four territories. This is a varied, hands-on office-based role that puts you at the heart of both our customer experience and our operational delivery., Working well with customers - Prior to each service commencing, you will carry out new customer sign-ups and risk assessments, creating and agreeing individually tailored, written care and support plans that respect each customer's wishes, dignity, and privacy. You will keep care plans up to date and ensure customers and their families are always well informed about the service. Leading and supporting your team - You will give care assistants the information, guidance, and supervision they need to deliver safe, high-quality care. Working with our coordinators, you will help match support workers to customers, attend first calls to make introductions, and ensure any schedule changes are reported promptly to all relevant parties. You will also distribute, collect, and monitor MAR charts, and support the training and development of care assistants. Where needed, you will arrange and manage staff changeovers and briefings for live-in care assignments. On-call responsibilities - You will take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota on a rotational basis. This includes managing on-call issues such as arranging cover for sickness and absence, attending or coordinating calls when needed, and recording and communicating emergency information to the relevant parties. Driving quality and compliance - You will investigate service quality matters and implement meaningful improvements, carrying out quality reviews at customers' homes to ensure care is delivered in line with company procedures. You will apply Bluebird Care's policies and procedures at all times and ensure that accidents and incidents are recorded, reported, and acted upon in line with regulatory requirements. Being a key part of the Bluebird Care team - You will lead staff and customer meetings, work flexibly to meet business needs, and collaborate with health and social care professionals, customers' families, and colleagues across all four branches.

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards a Level 3 at a minimum)
  • Experience working in a care setting
  • A good understanding of person-centered care and support planning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers, families, and professionals
  • Confidence leading and supporting a team of care assistants
  • Ability to write clear risk assessments, care plans, and records
  • Good IT and administrative skills
  • Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota
  • A full UK driving license and Class 1 business insurance (valid MOT required)
  • Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS clearance, All applicants will be required to consent to an Enhanced DBS disclosure. A valid UK driving license and business use insurance are required for this role.

  • The working hours for this role are from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday (office hours). On occasion, you may be required to work outside of these hours (non-office hours). What We Offer
