Full Job Description
We are looking for a Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist to join us as a Care Coordinator (Band 6) in the Early Intervention Psychosis team in Peterborough- CAMEO., The role of the MH practitioner is to work in partnership with CAMEO service users, developing their care plans and recovery plans to enable them to lead fulfilling lives. They will demonstrate an understanding of clinical interventions relevant to CAMEO. Protocols as detailed in NICE guidance CG178 and EIPN Quality Standards CCQI 373 to include assertive outreach approaches, psycho-education, relevant aspects of social inclusion, recovery, care plans and discharge planning, working closely with partner agencies to facilitate this, and working alongside carers and families, offering them specialist interventions. The post holder will work to promote the safety and the wellbeing of service users and their families/carers. The post holder will assess, plan and implement care, and provide specialist advice pertinent to their professional background and carry out relevant specialist interventions. They will provide clinical supervision to staff and students. The post holder will ensure that the early intervention approach and ethos are adhered to, this includes working with the under 17 age range as required.
CAMEO is the specialist Early Intervention Psychosis service in Cambridgeshire. This post will be located in the dynamic and multi-cultural city of Peterborough. We cover Peterborough, Fenland and Huntingdon. We have adopted a hybrid model of working and would welcome applicants from neighbouring counties. We are:
- A multi-disciplinary team including nurses, social workers, OTs, doctors, support workers, psychologists, and CBTp therapists.
