Full Job Description
This is a key role responsible for managing a portfolio of capital projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality standards while maintaining full compliance with statutory, regulatory and Trust requirements. The post holder will work closely with clinical, operational and estates colleagues to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to patient care., Manage and deliver a portfolio of capital projects of varying scale and complexity across all Trust sites
Lead projects from briefing, feasibility and business case development through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
Prepare and manage Project Initiation Documents, programmes, budgets and cash flows
Monitor performance against scope, programme, cost and quality, managing change in line with Trust governance and controls
Act as the main point of contact for clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders, consultants and contractors
Ensure early and ongoing engagement with Infection Prevention & Control, Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Digital and Facilities teams
Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including CDM Regulations, HTMs, HBNs, Building Safety Act and Trust policies
Manage external consultants and contractors, including performance management and compliance with Control of Contractors procedures
Prepare reports, risk registers and updates for Project Boards and senior stakeholders
Support capital planning activity including annual programme development and the Estates five-year plan
Ensure effective commissioning, handover and post-project evaluation, including documentation and asset information updates
