• Job Title: CAD Technician
• Location: Rotherham Depot
• Salary: £26,374.40 per annum   
• Hours: 40 hours over normal working week

What is the role of a CAD Technician? 

As a CAD Technician you will be required to produce ATM Layout drawings to accurately determine suitable positions and the works required to achieve a successful outcome, based upon our initial In-house surveyors’ reports, covering the UK, to be utilized by several stakeholders within NCR Atleos and customers. The role requires you to have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, and Microsoft packages, consisting of excel, word and cloud-based software for tracking and audit purposes. 

What will I be doing as a CAD Technician? 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing & submitting CAD drawings, Microsoft Survey documents for ATM Installation Projects across the UK.
• Liaising with our Surveyors, CAD, Planning team members, Scheduling/Build Supervisory teams, NCR Atleos remote support teams and external contractors, to collate required information to progress and submit the necessary installation proposal packages to required timelines.
• Promptly and accurately maintain daily tracking documents.
• Occasionally assist with the Planning team workload once training has been completed.
• General filing, admin duties associated with the role and general housekeeping.

What will I need to succeed as a CAD Technician? 

• An excellent working knowledge with experience of AutoCAD 2D is essential.
• Excellent Time Management, organisation, communication skills and attention to detail.
• Problem solving attitude and a positive, enthusiastic personality.
• Excellent time keeping.
• Ability to build successful working relationships with office and remote colleagues.
• Good IT Competency – All Microsoft; Forms, Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
• An understanding and knowledge of minor building works would be advantageous.
