Full Job Description
Produce drawings, schematics, specifications, and project documentation
Complete load calculations, pipework sizing, and technical assessments
Carry out site surveys of existing plant and distribution systems
Support tender reviews and contractor evaluation
Work closely with internal low-carbon specialists to deliver integrated solutions
Attend and lead client meetings; manage project tasks and deliverables
Support and mentor junior engineers as the team continues to grow
Experience designing mechanical building services
Strong understanding of plant rooms, heating, cooling, and distribution systems
Proficiency with CAD tools (Revit, CAD, SketchUp)
Ability to collaborate across engineering teams and communicate clearly with clients
Desirable: experience in low-carbon/renewable systems or working toward Chartership, You're detail-driven, technically sharp, and motivated by delivering high-quality engineering solutions. You enjoy working on complex projects, contributing fresh ideas, and playing a part in the UK's journey toward low-carbon heating.
