We are in the midst of transforming how we manage these assets through our Corporate Landlord model-a strategic and fully integrated approach to facilities and estates management.As a Buildings & Contracts Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the department's activities, with a primary focus on ensuring the efficient delivery of services and maintaining a positive customer experience.This is an exciting time to join us as we shape a modern, efficient, and customer-focused service.Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate works and operational tasks, supporting the delivery of buyback services in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Visit customers to ensure service standards are met and satisfaction remains central to service delivery.
- Provide dedicated support to the Head of Asset Management, including task management, meeting coordination, and internal communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining service trackers and reporting key updates to senior management.
- Conduct regular site visits across Central Bedfordshire, assist the Helpdesk and PPM teams, and carry out quality assurance checks.
- Draft and review procedures, oversee contractor performance, lead audits, and ensure cost-effective estate management.
- Perform risk assessments, manage building user groups, and liaise with schools, commercial tenants, and council staff.
- Ensure accurate issue logging and monitoring through TF Cloud.
- Act as a designated First Aider and Fire Warden at Priory House one day per week.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - A highly customer-focused approach.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with a broad range of IT systems and applications.
- First Aid at work qualified (Training will be provided).
