Full Job Description

The CNS is the patient's key worker will manage their own clinical caseload, providing highly specialist nursing input and continuity of care to patients at each stage of the pathway (diagnosis, treatment, surveillance and longer term follow up).

The successful applicant will be an experienced cancer nurse with proven clinical skills and knowledge in the field of cancer and a commitment to prividing the highest standard of care to Breast Cancer patients. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills who has the ability to impart complex information to patients, relatives and carers., You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the physical and psychological challenges faced by this group of patients. You will also be adaptable to the evolving needs of our patients and be willing to participate in service development that reflects the changing ways care can be delivered.
