Wolgarston High School is seeking to appoint a committed, resilient and motivated Behaviour Mentor to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and ambitious school community as we continue to expand.

This post is temporary and linked to external funding, providing the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact on students' lives within a focused intervention role.

We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to high standards of behaviour, care, and inclusion, and who can positively support students to achieve their full potential., The Behaviour Mentor will play a key role in supporting students to overcome behavioural, emotional and social barriers to learning. Working closely with identified pupils, you will help to improve behaviour, engagement, attendance and personal development, enabling them to succeed both in and beyond the classroom., The Trust's vision and ethos is encapsulated in our motto 'Learning Together'. Our main aim is to work collaboratively and take collective responsibility for ensuring that every child and young person in our Trust receives an excellent education, achieves high outcomes and realises their potential. All members of staff work incredibly hard to provide the very best education for every child in our care.

You will:

Be passionate about working with young people, particularly those who need additional support

Demonstrate resilience, empathy and strong interpersonal skills

Be able to build positive, professional relationships with students, staff and families

Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
