Bank Maintenance Assistant

Sulis Hospital Bath has an opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Bank team. Sulis Hospital is a pioneer in patient care and experience, is looking for a Semiskilled individual to join the bank team.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team. They must be flexible in their approach to work, willing to go the extra mile to ensure quality and safety throughout the Hospital.

Role & Responsibilities:

The individual will be working as part of a team to deliver planned preventative maintenance on all aspects of equipment throughout the Hospital.

The tasks include, servicing air handling units, water safety monitoring, theatre checks, ground works, cleaning plant, building fabric repairs, painting, and decorating and assisting the Engineers to fault find and rectify faults.

We will provide specialist training, appointed person status training.

Bank - Various shifts

Operate electrical and mechanical plant or equipment

Work on own initiative

Must be Self Motivated

Basis IT skills to operate database and email.

The candidate must be adaptable

The candidate must be a team player

The candidate must be willing to learn

Communicate with all levels of hospital staff

Basic fitting, plumbing, electrical and decorating skills

Use and knowledge of hand tools

Knowledge and experience of CAFM and BMS Systems (desirable)
